add subject to document

Is there a way to add the subject to a document in cms 2.0? I have a couple of documents created and when I select a client to email it always makes me put in a subject. I would like to be able to add the subject to the document so I don't have to add it each time.

Is there a way?

The CMS does not allow for you to enter a subject until you are actually sending an email.

Adding a subject field is a customization and will need a work order.
