    Default website follow up and lead conversion rates

    I am curious to know what type of follow up and conversion rates you guys are getting on your website leads. I don’t do a ton of follow up but I do have a newsletter. I find that I make contact with one perspective buyer for every 10-20 that register. It is weird though. Most of my closings come from people who get the newsletter and call me roughly 6-12 months after they register. My actual closing percentage seems to be about 1-3 for every 300 people who register.

    I can expect between 4 & 12% closing rates within 9 months depending on what registration process I use. The more info I ask for up front the less people register, but more conversions because they are receptive to me contacting the.

    I must say if you are getting this many deals with so little work you should be jumping for joy. You could (in my opinion) dramatically increase your conversions with more hands on follow up. It is amazing what a well timed phone call right after registration can do for your conversion rates.

    The whole key is to catch the potential buyer while they are still thinking about buying. If you can call them while on your site you will gain major points.

    TrophyHomes said it about as Good as could be...if you can monitor your incoming Site Traffic (Leads) and call them THEN...right when they are still on your Site...before they leave to go to your Competitors...your Contact odds are Much Greater.
    Then if you can call afew times a day at different times from different numbers after you have left One initial message...for afew days...you are maximizing your odds.
    Then, with your IDX Daily Updates, and Good Drip Campaign and Good Newsletter for many months, you are hedging your bets on the Prospects that are just going to take longer to get in gear.
    The Internet Does attract a large number of the latter type Prospects.

    Most people that find you through google are early in the buying process. They are in the information gathering process. If they had already gathered the information they desire they would have sites they frequent. That means to convert them to principals you have to be the best source of the information they want and you need to keep in touch so that they remember to request your assistance when they are ready.
