    Default Deleting an Accepted Lead

    Hello-

How does an agent delete a lead that they have already accepted? The bright green box that normally show that as an option at the top of their lead management page is gone when you are in the Returning Leads, New Leads and Summary Tabs. I was logged in as James Knapp, he was attempting to delete a lead and we're wondering how that's done.

    Thanks!

You have to select the lead by clicking on his name. That takes you into the leads details. There are 9 choices you can select: Summary, Edit, Notes, History, Listings, Searches, Tracked Visits, Files, Emails (They look like tabs or buttons).

    Click the "edit" button.
Scroll to the bottom of the edit lead page and click the green delete button. I was just on James Knapp's site testing this, so you shouldn't have any problems.

Still having some trouble with this... Kristi Coy for example, has only an Edit Lead button at the bottom of the Edit tab on any of her accepted leads. Please let me know if this is something that you can fix up for us.

There are two different ways to delete a lead. Here are screen shots from Kristi Coy's site for examples.

You can delete a lead right from the lead summary page. Check the box beside the name and click the delete button.

Or you can go into lead details, click the edit tab, scroll to the bottom of the page and click delete.

I am really unsure how you're seeing these pages, because on mine, they are not there.

Unless I am looking at the wrong screens?

    Danielle-

I am also not finding those options on Kristi's lead pages and I am fairly certain that I am viewing the correct pages. I fully understand the sections that you are directing me to... Not sure why those options aren't showing up.

    Thanks for looking into this.

This is also happening on Greg Paul's page, and Garth Kooy's which leads me to believe it might be on other's as well.

    Thanks,

Valeen - Sorry for the confusion. I thought I was talking to just you as the "admin". As the admin (logging in as admin), you can delete whatever you want on any agent page. The agents themselves (logging in as agent non-admins) cannot delete leads. They are supposed to reject the lead and the lead will go back to the admin. The admin can delete or re-assign the lead to another agent.

    Danielle-

Thanks for getting back to us so promptly. OK- I understand what you're saying about rejecting the leads... but I think most of the questions that the agents have right now revolve around deleting an already ACCEPTED lead. They want the ability to sort of "clean up" their lead lists... I remember them being able to do this in the beginning, but just as of late those delete options have been removed it seems.

    Hello

The ability to delete leads as an agent has never existed in CMS 2.

We can add this feature for you. Please post in the work orders forum or contact your salesman.
