I found a writer who is willing to write 10 seo friendly real estate related articles on topics that I provide for $20.00 an article. Each article is going to be 450+ words and are unique. Is that a good price for article writing?

I'm an independent writer running a small article writing and blog management service. My rates for article-writing work are based on standard research topics not requiring interviews:

200 Words = $10
400 Words = $18
500 Words = $22

So, a quote of $20 for a 450+ word article seems perfectly reasonable. If this includes really research-intensive keywords or topics (for example, digging out real estate or financing stats for a particular area), then you're getting a great deal.

Those are my base rates, but I will increase my estimate if I think the subject warrants a lot of leg work.

And, like other people on this thread have pointed out, whether or not it's a good deal is really going to depend on the quality of the writing.
