Hey, if you smoked like me, you could quit and pay for it lots quicker than with the coffee and paper route.

Seriously though, the point2agent route is the best if your web knowledge is limited. The sites can and do rank if you work it properly. The knowledge for doing it is out there, but it takes lots of effort.

Open Realty was around when I first started. It is a cool tool - if you have lots of listings. The learning curve for using it is much steeper and there are not as many people that might help you out.

I have been around since Morgan first opened up this joint. I did the Point2, and now have the knowledge to use the Open Realty proficiently. In the end though, you are going to want a REW platform. Start with the point2, save some money and get the REW Template, and then begin saving for a REW LEC or Custom.

Morgan and crew helped me come a long way. I always knew at some point I would get an REW platform, they didn't know that and still allowed me on the discovery playground. You are at the right place. Hang around and as your practice matures so will the tools you use in that practice. There isn't anything wrong with the Red Light - Green Light method of moving up as the funds allow.

Starting reading up on Joomla CMS platform. Get a stand alone blog like wordpress and add open or ez realty extentions and you can do it without spending $4000 or having to settle for a cookie cutter template.

Most hacked system in the known universe, and freelancers know nothing about real estate (technology or business)

So many Realtors (or website customers of any kind really) always think about the lowest possible cost as opposed to the best possible solution with respect to current budget and best possible ROI.

The cheapest solution is rarely the best solution -

    Chill webmaster

Right now most of the agents don't have access to your package and my Q was why not hire another a company/free developer to do your design? That doesn't mean to get cheapest one

I meant WP theme, not template (sorry)

Do you really know everything about RE?

I don't care how cheep something is; if I am not getting conversions...Its TOO EXPENSIVE!

Therefore, I'd say Morgan knows EVERYTHING about getting traffic to REALTORS web sites and converting that traffic to Leads.

If you enter ANY business without enough start up capital you will fail so questions like this scare me because they are saying I don't have enough money to start this up so help me prolong the agony of failure.

Oh, forgot to mention...name ONE other webmaster who defended our content, URL or testified on our behalf?

I do have to agree with Morgan & that the cheap solution only hurts you and your business which will become more expensive in the long run when you do redesign & deploy websites that dont cut it which then will have you coming to REW to have it done right lol

So the cheap solution only = is more expensive.
