    Question Real Estate Traffic?

Just wondering how much traffic you folks actually get % wise from MSN vs Yahoo or Google. In the SEO market I get literally none and rank #1 for almost all my terms such as SEO Company which according to overture gets 10,000+ searches per month. Whats the deal? Is it just my industry or does MSN just not get any traffic.

How can you check that..to see what kind of traffic is gotten for a search phrase in all the search engines.

    Rounded off,

    MSN 8%
    Yahoo 15%
    Google 76%
    Other 1%

That is the breakdown of my search engine traffic for people looking to buy homes. As for people searching for "SEO Company"..well, if they know what SEO means they probably aren't using MSN

    Default What I do...

Every lead that I generate I ask them what search engine and keywords they used to find me... Whats strange is if I type the keywords in sometimes I'm not to be found but yet they found me.

Your site stats should give you all the keywords/phrases people used to find you

I am not optimized on MSN nor do I use PPC with Overture, but I am surprised that there is not more traffic coming over MSN for Real Estate in general. I think MSN is the default homepage for a ton of users. Based on that alone, I think it would be a popular search engine. I have to think they will make some push in the future. I just can't see Mr Gates toiling in third place without a fight.
