I just checked google webmaster tools for my external links to my site and saw a whole list of links incoming from thread posts on realestatewebmasters forums. I thought it was strange becuase I know that forum users here must contribute more than 300 posts before the NOFOLLOW rule is removed and I only have about 40 posts so far. Next, I checked the source code on the threads that showed up as incoming links in G webmaster tools and saw the Nofollow rule was in place everywhere my website was mentioned. So, my question is this? Does google webmasters tool ignore the nofollow rule and post your links regardless of the setting. I thought nofollow meant google ignored your link completely. If this incoming link list has nothing to do with the links that affect your PR or SERPs, why should i bother checking it?
