    Default Short Sales

    Since sales started going down, I started to do more and more short sales and hated it. I got in real estate in 2003, so I'm still fairly new to the market, but I think that I have a good handle on things. But these short sales were kicking my ass. I found a company in Irvine, CA that has one of the best short sales experts in the country, Patrick Grom, and I learned directly from him where I was making my mistakes and now instead of about 10% I now average around 40% of my deals being accepted. Best of all I didn't have to find investors because they already had them waiting to pick up anything it seems like. I made 60K last month. I strongly encourage anyone who is interested to look them up, TCS Foreclosures. The guy who helped me was Darrin Griffitts, he made sure that I got taken care of right away, as well as being quick and to the point.

    Some friendly advice from a moderator ( in the R-E-W) (grin).

    When your first post is a promo for someone, it raises the possibility of self promotion (against the TOS of this forum). If you build up your credibility over time with a couple of hundred posts, for example, THEN post about someone who helped you...it will carry more weight.

    That's how we keep the community free from spam here "in the REW."

    Thanks for being a part of our community.

    Best;

    Kind of looks a little spammy there Tom - perhaps you would like to tell us a little more about yourself, what office you work out of, etc - if you are going to be making "to good to be true" posts that look like spam, the least you can do is allow us to verify it (As a membership we most certainly have access to verify sales claims by real estate agents pretty much anywhere in the country)

    I second the BS call, never mind the low success rate of short sales, one of the major drawbacks when they do go through is many banks have started to also short the comm rates.

    And... let's disclose the fee for this service while we are at it.. shall we??

    Even though I will say some sort of training or service is better then no training or service when it comes to short sales. We have a full service person on our team that does NOTHING but handle the short sale process all day long...
