    Default Keeping Track of Leads?

How do you keep track of your leads when they contact you with the web form? I was having a hard time keeping track of them so I made a simple template in Word and hand write the variables as they come in.

All of my leads through IDX capture I can handle but it's I get a few web form leads I tend to lose track of them. Is there any software to handle this type of stuff?

One example I have is this. I have a client who was about to move from FL to Charlotte. His company pushed his move back 5 months. I want to remember to contact him 1 month before he moves up here. I would love some software that says "Hey Michael remember to call X today.” Then show me all of his information on the properties he was looking at before he stayed in FL?

    Any ideas?

The easiest thing to do would be to just go to your calendar in Outlook and set a reminder.

I am sure it's been touched on before, but wouldn't this be great to have a calendar option in CMS 2 that could notify you so you just have one place to go for all REW leads and follow up. It surely must be on the "want" list?

Not just a calendar, but, something that would also track actions. It would need to recognize when you did something so, more than a calendar, it would need to be an action plan that saw and recognized what you did so it knew what it should do next based on a preset plan.

THAT would be a tremendous help.

If I am working - let's say - 5 leads a day; after about 5 days, if I'm supposed to do something specific for each lead, I would lose track quickly without reminders.

Why not just set up an email reminder in TP? Or even set up an email to go out automatically from you one month ahead saying "Hey Bob, aren't you moving in aabout a month? Give me a call when you're ready to start looking at some property. Can't wait to see ya."
