"A 6.1 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Canada's Vancouver Island on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The quake was felt at 5:37 a.m. local time and was centered 153 km west-southwest of Port Hardy, B.C., and 472 km west-northwest of Vancouver.
The USGS said the quake was reported at a depth of 10 km. No tsunami warning was issued."
