How long to get a Wordpress blog indexed?

I started a hosted (.com) WP blog last week and still do not see it being cached/indexed etc, curious how long it typically takes. I do not see the url in Google yet. I did put links to my WP blog on some of my other blogs to get some link juice going but still nothing yet. I just added it to technorati today but no idea if that helps.

The blog url is: http://putnamcountyhomes.wordpress.com/

Actualy I just noticed if I copy and past the url in Yahoo's search it shows up but it does not show up on any sort of searches I do on any of the search engines but I know a local agent in the area whos blog shows up a lot.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

You ARE indexed! (grin) I just Googled putnamcountyhomes (all smashed together) and you were #4 in my DC. It was an interior page, but it was there.

it take 1/2 an hour maximum 1 hour.

WP is excellent about sending a ping to Google to tell it "Hey come and look, I have updates". Despite that, you should also be running the Google sitemaps plug-in for Wordpress to help Google find all your pages.

Also sign up for Google Webmaster tools to insure Google trusts you.

I had a wp blog I hosted and for some reason it took almost 2 weeks for it to show up in Google. The interior pages showed first now the home page is coming up. No idea why, I think I may have created too many links to it initially.
