Default Adding search to main page

I'd like to set up a search on my main page like http://www.jimolenbush.com
I'd also like to set it up so that once the click on a specific property, then they have to register.

How does it typcially work once they register, so that they don't have to come back and re-register everytime they re-visit my website? Can they log in using their email address? Open to ideas.

Also on my Favorites list, can we have them register once they click on a property for more information?

Thanks for your input. My goal is to capture leads- I'm getting a number of hits on my site, but no one is registering.

Paul before you ordered any of this other stuff, you are going to need an REW IDX - you just missed the promo, but I will let you get in on it as long as it is an existing feed that we service.

    Promo info here: http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/...rey/6058/show/

Sorry, I "think" it would fall under CDAR - http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/idx/mls/CDAR/ they seem to be the same thing, if so, please confirm and then you "would" qualify for the promo under the existing feed regulations

Btw Paul, the registration you asked about (In both spots) is actually default or included in REW CORE, so no additional quoting required there - however the Jimolenbush.com website (And quick search) is quite a custom site.

You can have a sidebar quick search like www.bocaexpert.com for $300 if you wanted to go really custom with your quick search, you could be looking at 10 hours or more in combined design / programming time.

Of course it still won't present like Jimolenbush.com as your website is a template and his is a very robust custom.

I'm good with whats on bocaexpert.com

So let me ask though, once someone starts searching, how can I force them to register? and at what point? Can I have them do it after they pull up their initial search and when they ask for more info? Appreciate your help and advice on how to make that work (and for the lease $$)

Also did you contact my board office? Just got a call from them and I think they're sending you forms to complete for the IDX Raw Data feed.

    Thanks

    Paul,

Are you a member of the California Desert Association of Realtors? If so, I talked to Paul Potter from CDAR and he passed on some information. Agents are permitted access, and I have the application paperwork should you choose to get an IDX from us. You should know that there is a $250 setup fee and a $25/month ongoing fee for the IDX access, billed March to March and due before IDX setup (i.e. Oct to Feb).

Which of course is outside of REW billing, any fees charged by your board for "your" access are your responsibility.

Reed please pass on the paperwork, Paul is an existing customer.
