    Default Batting .500

Spent a little time going back through my link exchanges and checking backlinks and of the 12 mortgage/financing sites I've linked with, 6 no longer link back to me. I could understand one or two here and there due to new site redesigns or other reasons, but this is ridiculous. I used to send an email inquiring as to why my link no longer appears on their site, now I don't even bother. It's too much trouble and they usually never respond back anyway.

This sort of thing is to be expected, and 50% attrition is not that bad. Truly when setting out to exchange links one should expect that at least half will remove your link without telling you, its a part of the world. I suggest doing what hmiller has done, audit your links and remove any non linking parties every 2 months or so. Dont waste your time trying to mail them, move on to find 50 more good partners out of the next 100

Where in the world are you finding all of these websites? I have worked my butt off and only found 250 so far!

    Hmiller,
Perhaps it's just better to hire some sort of reciprocal linking program. Perhaps, I am mistaken but isn't part of what REW does is help engage in auditing other link exchanges to make sure these things are minimized. And if you do find out, you can keep finding more people to link with?

I think 250 BLs for the time you've been doing it is great. Keep up the good work.

I'm not sure that they do that kind of auditing, but hiring them is something I would quite possibly do in the future.

Nash, you are about one week to late, sorry bro - We have just taken a client on in Nashville for quite a big project, they have a non-compete clause contingent on first right of refusal thus we couldnt service you

Hmiller, no problems in your market And yes linking is one of our most popular services
