Using a call center to prequalify leads

I've been asking some of the successful realtors in my area how they are generating leads. From what I understand, they are buying lead databases and then hiring an overseas call center to prequalify them. Then they work the filtered leads.

I have found some options where to buy the data, but I am not sure about what call center to hire. There seems to be a great deal of them around.

Are there any good call centers out there that you can recommend?

I'd REALLY make sure they don't have a Accent Problem...that Really turns Folks off.

Not meaning to say anything "Politically Incorrect" (hey, I'm from Austin!), but that would be the Major Issue I could think of besides List Quality, Script (offer/USP), and of course Price.

I used to have a team of 'kids' calling from a call center that I created. I say kids because they were younger than me in both age and experience. They did an OK job on the phones but I found that the conversion was MUCH higher when I was on the phone and I spent less money in the long run.

I would stay away from foreign call centers especially with the 'new' DNC rules!

you can look around for call centers, depends on what country will they be calling? maybe i can help you out if it has to do within the USA.

As another option, one that I use, you can hire a virtual assistant, teach them the "script" you want used on your leads, and then have that person call.

1. You can build a relationship with the person making the calls and improve what you want and change things quickly.

2. You don't have to worry about the accent!

Just a thought since that is the strategy I employ.
