Are we dressing as we normally do while posting ie.. pajamas and drinking a beer, or will most of you be in full business attire?
Because of the two flights a boat ride and wishing to travel extremely light I was hoping to get by on khakis and a dress shirt but if I will be the only one of you not in a suit I can pack a larger bag.

I was thinking "should I bring this t-shirt with a monkey on it" when I answered myself, "Nah!"
If it were warmer I'd be in shorts.Money Magazine says that Orland Park real estate is one of the best places to live in the U.S. Check out Homer Glen homes if you're interested in living in the newest Chicago suburb. Next door, Lemont homes are the priciest in the southwest suburbs and have held their value, even appreciating while prices in other areas have gone down.

The only time I ever went to Vancouver we were having record low temperatures in Mississippi (below 0). I was going to Canada right! Need lots of warm clothes. When I got there it was in the 70's.
Oh and if you stay at one of the Ramada Inn's somewhere around there, all of the signs, placards, handouts, etc. will be in Chinese. It was a really cool 2 day business trip. The place looked like you expect Hong Kong to with highrises all around the water (but a fabulous looking ski resort looking in the other direction). I am sure Nanaimo is beautiful too!

Wait for the rest of us to pack and fly 1/2 way around the world and then suggest we should bring shorts and jeans...
On the other hand having a cold beverage at the conference would be a plus
