How wrong you are Do you know how many western companies (and large corporations too) use Indian copywriters to provide web/blog content? The answer is many.

In my experience, a bit of ontology, a quick conversation and some excellent research by the companies that I have used in India have provided some excellent content that has helped me to some great rewards.

And they can spell better than you

The forums and freelance sites have plenty of writers looking for work. It really depends what you are looking for. A good plan of action would be to hire some writers for the article distribution and then offer the better ones the mission critical jobs.

If you can cut out the middle men, there are some decent Indian writers. There are also quite a few Americans available for writing due to the poor economy. Some of the American writers even offer better rates than the Indian companies.

They have a Texas office but do not return calls or fix their work.I was able to get a refund, but never got my time back and the amount of frustration was one I dont' want to do again. And no I don't really want to teach someone American English. Like all things there is a balance of price and quality and then getting the things inputted. The Indian companies have a price structure that seems appealing, but like many things there are trade offs. I do have someone at present, but it is only part of the solution. Time value is important as is an all in one solution. Have a good holidays.
I think you would be better off hiring a group of writers on a 'per word' basis rather than hiring a company that farms it out. You will be able to keep the costs down and better control the quality. It gets a little fustrating at first. But with a little patience, you'll build a good staff of writers.

    Hi,

I'm an independent writer based in the Pacific Northwest.

I found this thread and thought I would tell you about myself and what I can offer.

    I:

    -Never outsource.
    -Always deliver on-time.
    -Stand behind my work.

I'm also very careful to never take on more clients or work than I can handle. Right now, I'm offering four basic blog packages, but these can be customized depending on your needs:

    1. Budget Blog Management: $100/month
-15 posts (150-300) words per month, submitted to you in .txt or .doc format.

    2. Basic Blog Management: $150/month
-15 posts (150-300 words) per month*.
-Posting service, including adding and publishing posts.

    3. Premium Blog Management: $300/month
-30 posts (150-300 words) per month*.
-15 well-written comments on other applicable, niche-related blogs.
-Posting service, including adding and publishing posts and handling Blogroll maintenance.

    4. Personalized Blog Management: $300/month
-15 posts (150-300 words) per month*, based on a monthly phone interview designed to get your personal "voice."
-15 well-written comments on other applicable, niche-related blogs.
-Posting service, including adding and publishing posts and handling Blogroll maintenance.

    A Note on Images:
*Images are not included. Please add $50/month for a full images package (I use copyright-free images only) or $25/month for images on 50% of your posts.

You can contact me via PM or through email at jesse@jessebouche.com. If you like, send me your number and I'd be happy to give you a call to discuss this further.

    Thanks,

    Jess

Hey, Im new on these boards, but I thought I would add my knowledge to the topic...

You can often find writers on Amazon's Mturk that write for pennies on the dollar. Im not saying that you should use this to get all of your content, but you might be able to post a job or two and get a variety of different responses according to your job specifications. If you find a writer that you like, you can often hire them outright and offer them some kind of base pay.

    Just another option.

Good lead Kaida, thanks. I have been using another source and had not heard of M Turk. I'll check them out. Lots of people use these types of services.

Bestjobs.ph is a good place to start looking for writers. I handle SEO and writers myself as I work in the Philippine and US real estate market. Indians are great writers but they are trained with the British writing system, unlike Filipinos who are trained with the American writing system.

As of now, I am under the supervision of Trace Trajano, an Ohio-based real estate investor.

Email me if you are interested with the writing package and blog management at ianmaranon@gmail.com.

I can provide service for your business with the following:

    $300/month

with 50% down payment and the other 50% upon delivery

10 monthly blog posts (300-word post) including posting service - this is enough as changing content everyday can hurt the rankings; all seo-friendly

Article marketing - 20 300-word articles submitted with ezine articles for backlinking. Platinum level expert author; articles are approved within 48 hours.

This is a great deal at $10 per article. We can only accept 3 clients as of this time.
