Default Please review my REW template

    Hey gang,
I'm almost done writing pages and content for my new REW template and I'm planning on going live probably next week. I just wanted to run it by you and see what you all think.

There's still a bug with how listing images are displayed, but there's a ticket open for this and should be resolved shortly. Other than that, let me know if there's anything else I can do to enhance it. This is an out-of-the-box REW template with custom IDX. No custom upgrades have been done to this template.

    Here's a link:

    Thanks in advance.

Wow you sure cover allot of areas.

Anyway, it's an REW template so what's not to like. Good idea purchasing the REW idx up front. It adds quite a bit to the templates.

The only small and I mean very small issue I found, is that you reference a form when you have an email link. Usually, an email link will bring up the visitors default email client rather bring the visitor to a form.

    Looks good.

Jesse, thanks for pointing that out. I agree with you and I just changed the link.

I also just noticed that the required registration is gone when viewing listing details. I sent REW an email, so that should be back on shortly.

I see the yellowish-tan color a lot on the REW sites. If you could change that color to a little bit lighter tan, I think it would be easier on the eyes.

Just to make sure I'm clear... I'm talking about the box that has "Popular Subdivisions in Bedminster" in it.

REW IDX - I'm jealous You might want to limit the number of communities in the NAV, or maybe organize it a little better (by county/region, etc.). I think you've done a great job laying out the interior pages. The community pages look great.

The look is clean and neat which I like...Another item I liked (don’t know if it helps with rankings at all? but..) is the fact your testimonial page has city links by the names, just another way to keep tools in front of viewers.

Market stats page is great. Did you make that or did REW? The one thing I seen I would do is to put more area content on your main nav pages vs. just the properties for sale and links like it is. Nice site overall...

Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback.

Regarding the color of boxes, there's only one shade of highlighting that comes with the template and that's the one I used (class="highlight")

Market stat page is actually from TrendMLS. It's updated every month, so I think it's a nice way to display relevant market information.

I know about putting more content on the area pages. Honestly, I hate writing, plus I'm not that great at it. I decided to go with links for now, because if I would start writing content for all 42 cities, I wouldn't go live for another year. I'm just terrible at writing, but will concentrate on it after I go live. I have 5 major cities that I want to concentrate on, so I'll start with those first.

    Great feedback.

What do you guys think of the "Bucks County Schools" section? Too many external links on school district pages?

In my area, there's absolutely no competition between realtors for school district terms, so maybe it can have good SERPs and provide relevant information to visitors. What do you think?

On the template you could just insert a grid and that has all the colors under the rainbow... or have a mouse over link created but the grid and colors are available already on the template.

The school page I like but how about adding content below each school link for some good keywords.
