How many closings

How many closings should I do in a relatively hot but oversaturated with agents market per month? This will be my very 1 st year. I know I need to concentrate on training but the bills still have to be paid. How did you fare your first year?

Think I did around 8 deals the 1st year. Just enough to not go broke.

It's too bad this isn't publicly available information! I would LOVE to know how many closings per month some of the agents in my market are doing. You would think that someone is collecting this data, but if they are they are keeping it pretty well under wraps.

I thought that was available in Las Vegas. I was told by another agent that she could see any other agents production. Is it available to the Brokers?

I know for a fact that every mortgage broker have access to agent profile and sales volume. I've been in this business for about 6 months and I have only 8 closings (2 larger and 6 small deals). Compared to a couple of other agents who joined my firm at the same time, I'm quite far behind. Hopefully, I'll catch up and fare better soon!
