I have removed the 10,000 char limit. I'm not even sure why that is in our code to begin with.
As for you image problems, I will look into it further for you and let you know what I find.

That text is just ok to ignore. Click the Browse Server button and select the image you with to insert.
The text is there to help you understand the image placement. If you resize the popup (since your picture is quite large) you will see the image and the text in that box. You can them mess around with the Align dropdown and H and V space to get an idea of how your image will look inline with your text. The actual text wont be inserted into your blog post.
