Default IDX new listing "status" alerts

    Hi -

What will the charge be to add the following status changes to my new listing alerts (currently it is set for NEW listings only):

    Status:
    REDC - price reduced
    BOMK - back on market
    EXTND - extended
    RAIS - price raised

I am using NNRMLS. site: free nevada move dot com

    Thanks,
    MJA

    Hi Mitch,

So how exactly do you see this working? When someone has a saved search for the listing updates - then a listing becomes one of these 4 status types it will then send out the listing only once per status change? The listing will just be included in the listing emails with no indication of why it's in the listing update email. We'd need to set up a way to track these listing status changes - should take about 4hrs programming.

    Thank you,
    Aaron

    Aaron -

I would want the user to be alerted by email based on any type of status change (new, price reduced, price raised, back on market) === forget the EXTND ==.

I would probably need to have the email message format changed to include the headings:

    New Listings

    Price Reductions

    Price Raised

    Back On Market

with the listings beneath each category. Let me know how much time it would take to do this. Also, I'd like to get control over the email format so I can promote other things - kind of like an include file at a pre-determined location so I can have HTML from a file on my server included automatically.

    Hi Mitch,

Setting up the script to track these price changes will be the 4hrs programming. Then we will need to modify the saved search email script to separate the listings into these sections - 3hrs programming.

We will not be able to include a file from your server. It would not work with the way the saved search emails work.

    So about 7hrs programming.

    Thank you,
    Aaron
