Set Up PING on Blog

Said I have the old version Blog and the new version blog has an automatic PING set up.
My question is how much to get the automatic PING set up?

And what sites specifically does it PING?

Are you talking about a "Pingback" ? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pingback

No I have that already set up through google alerts. I wanted something where when I post a new blog, it pings it to other sites, or would the word be syndicates other sites. Basically when I write a blog, it will send my blog to other sites to have the blog posted on all the other sites too. Wordpress Blogs automatically does that.

The new version of the blog does not have this functionality - we would have to custom code it for you. A 5hr programming project should cover this. Let us know if you wish to proceed.
