Save Home Page As Picture - Help

I am preparing our next newsletter this morning and have an idea of pasting my header portion of my web site on it. Does anyone know how to copy that as a picture, when I try it does not show up or only portions of it does.


How do you copy your home page and save as a picture as it really looks including colors etc?

I am sure there are a lot of advanced ways to do it but ctrl-prtscrn and paste to paint, save and then open in whatever editor you are using. If you are using photoshop variant you can typically do file 'new' 'from clipboard' and edit from there. HTH.

No prob, I was choppin anyway and it took me almost as long to do it as it did to type it lol. Here is a quick one I ripped off for you, I need a better brush for that.

What did you use in PS to chop off the bottom? Did you do the drop shadow after chopping or did your chop tool do it for you?

I assume he used a program called SnagIt which is awesome, I use it too.

Hey Michael, I just used the eraser and selected a brush with a jagged edge and hit it from the bottom with some upstrokes and then added the shadow after.

Some stuff gets easier but I could never make a living at this, it takes me two days to come up with one button.

Thanks again for the help, we got our e-newsletter out Friday afternoon with the "new" look which was a copy of our web page (part of it anyway) and even had some people e-mail back and compliment the new look so thanks again! I need to start seeing what all these buttons on my keyboard are for
