    Default /IDX Save Botton

Change the save search button at page /idx so the search is saved by default, and they have to check a box to opt out of a saved search.

15 minutes programming (I guess this would be per site)

I want every search to be saved, I don't want them to have the option of not saving the search. Also remove the search button, I need this done all all three sites

In the other post yall asked how it would work, They can have as many searches as the like. I dont want them to override the searches.

    Hi Mike,

So every search that a user does is saved? They might end up with hundreds of searches.

    Also remove the search button
If we remove the search button - how will they search?

15 minutes programming (I guess this would be per site)
Not sure why you have 15 mins programming there - but this is certainly not a 15 min programming task.

That is what was quoted in the other post by Oct on the same issue.

Yes i want all the saved searches. I want it to send listings to every client that signs up. I dont want them to have a choice weather they get them or not.

ok - I strongly suggest that you do not have the users save every single search that they do ... what will happen is they will end up getting 20-30 ( or possible hundreds of emails- depending on how many saved searches that they have ) - since each saved search has the possibility of sending the user an email.

Instead - you might like something like this site has http://www.lovingcharlotte.com/idx/ click the saved search button and it prompts you so save a search.

Well, That isnt what i really want. I dont want to give people a choice, I want to know what they are searching and i want everyone to get listings in there email that matched the search they set up. Let me think about this?

Any Ideas? I want for every person that does a search on my MLS IdX to get listing emails that match there search. Do you have any ideas on how to do this.

Yes - I have some ideas. They involve having one saved search that overwrites each time someone does a search ( this way they don't get hammered with 30 emails ) .... like this site is a good example. http://www.thinklouise.com/idx/
