    3. You have check start to have a good onsite of your website

    4. Every details is being detected and is being evaluated by Google

Hrm. I have a feeling a few people will disagree with a LOT of this stuff. It's a known fact that in the last year link exchanges cause more harm than good.

There is benefit but if Google catches on.. be prepared to take a hit.

I will be the first to disagree!

I will gladly link to websites that are directly relevant to my website visitors. Put it this way if I sell restaurants, then linking to local restaurants that I have sold for example makes sense and is good for:

    a) me
    b) the restaurants I link to
    c) my site visitors

But lets say Im a real estate agent in London and I link to a real estate agent in Australia I can't see much benefit there to anyone... And the minor possible Google benefits are worthless...

It's been generally accepted and discussed in relation to Google that your website should be built with the visitors in mind. I wouldn't be surprised if soon backlinks fall even more out of the weight and things like bounce rate, repeat visits, direct traffic starts making a difference to SERPs

See.. the way you're referring to, I think, is definitely acceptable.

I do believe "Quality" is talking about reciprocal/3 way linking which is consciously deceiving the search engines. They don't like that.. and it will lead to a penalty if done excessively.

Linking to restaurants or various services that can help a potential client is definitely a good idea, I think. But as soon as it becomes a practice in deception.. rather than sincerely trying to help your customers.. that's where the problem lays.

Also, if you're linking to a restaurant.. there is a good chance, unless you contact them, that they won't be linking back. There isn't much benefit, SEO wise.. so no harm will come to you.

The reason why SEO exists is to increase the traffic onto your site. I understand that you might find this hard to understand if you don't do much of the selling over the internet and that your market is local. But if you are seriously considering making sales over the internet, the clear way of getting the people who are looking for your services onto your website is by making sure you rank on Google. If say you were a real estate agent in london, if you were seriously thinking about increasing your income (through contacts made through internet visits), is to have yourself rank on page 1 of Google for whenever anybody runs a search for, "Real Estate London".

That way, you making it easy for the people who are looking for you to actually find you. Of course, one link exchange would count for little as far as google ranking is concerned. but anyone who's serious about their internet-based business will need to look at ranking on Google. So you can either 1) Go to an SEO company and pay for this service, 2) wait for the tooth-fairy and take your website off onto page one of Google or 3) avail of this great offer for a free link.

We have numerous link partners who have established great relationships with us and in return for such a relationship, we have given them tips on how to rank on Google from Onsite Optimisation to perfected Keyword relevance ratios to even-higher quality link-outs from us.

We have been around for more than 3 years and we have more than 500 clients. We didn't get to where we are if our clients didn't rank. And the way that clients really pay for our service is because we take time in doing things like this where we reach out to people who don't appreciate how much labor intensive link building and general SEO really is. but there it is. I don't want to say you're wrong, i just don't want you guys to miss out on an opportunity if it kisses you on the mouth.

    Thanks

    C. the linking business is definitely huge, nobody is discrediting that here. But just because everyone is doing something doesn't make it right!

What was that saying: If all the dogs are barking up a tree, doesn't make it the right tree my friend

Fact is that if you try to trick Google, sooner or later they will catch up with you and you will be penalised. The way I see it is make logical and useful link exchanges and not blatant link exchanges with the sole purpose of SEO benefits...

    Look at it like this:

If 10 lawyers (specialised in RE) link to my website then chances are very high that this will lead to a sale for me. The same goes the other way around. Isn't that good?

    C.,

There are many other ways to get a site to rank. SEO is not Link Exchanges.

I'm just not too keen on letting the members here follow your advice. It has brought trouble in the past and it's probably good not to give out some advice that, in the end, might cause harm to their sites.
