Posting Articles on Social Networks

Craig suggested we post articles on social network websites to increase visibility in google, yahoo, ask, etc. searches. Two questions:

1. There are endless social network websites. How many sites do we have to post to to improve visibility?

2. How long does the article have to be?

It could be just one social networking platform (here, for example). I know a lot of people also participate at AR. Some would rather spend their time elsewhere. I think the most important piece is "liking" where you are (a la the esteemed Eric Blackwell). For now, find a few places you like to "hang out". Maybe here and AR...keep the focus smaller, keep the content awesome and the rest will fall into place. Hope that helps

Normally a 500 words article should be good . But you need to make sure that the article passes copyscape.

I would find a few that work for you! The key is to not over extend yourself otherwise it's not going to do you any good unless you are adding fresh and unique content to these sites you are using.

I use stumble and it does great to get the site or page index. sometime within 24 hrs.
