    Red face Coding Forum

The word "coding" can seem intimidating to a lot of newbie webmasters as it seems to entice thoughts of SSI's (Server side includes) mysql databases and things many of us just dont have the time to learn.

Granted this forum can help you with as advanced of questions as you can come up with, but its also for those who just want to know how the heck you write a link in html on your website, or post an image or picture.

So dont be afraid to ask any coding questions here, we all started somewhere and with each others help can all get to where we want to go.

Are there any downfalls to SSI, to page rank?

Absolutely none at all. SSI (Server side includes) are processed pre html publication so a search engine spiders never see them, they only see the html contained within

when submitting articles to directories and so forth, you are given 3 link options just like here on this forum. If I change the anchor text to different keywords but I keep the same link inside the <ahref=> will the search engines see this as spam?
