    Default work order request

    Hello
Ever since REW created the design for choicefinance.net a few years ago, I have never been able to insert a form without the borders showing extra bold and wide.

For example, see how this chart looks that I inserted here, http://www.choicefinance.net/mortgage-articles.htm
At the top of this page is a chart named Mortgage indexes. See how thick the borders are? How do I fix this?

The same is true for all the contact forms I inserted, like here http://www.choicefinance.net/contact-page.htm
I’ve always worked around it and made it work. But honestly, it’s becoming a pain as I try to insert other forms on my site.

Please let me know what code to modify or remove.

    Hi BJ,

Today was a day off up for us Canadians - Design will provide an estimate as soon as possible.

    Thank you,

    Hello BJ,

The contact form here, http://www.choicefinance.net/contact-page.htm, seems to be sourced from outside of your website within an iframe, and does not seem to be a REW product.
We could attempt to overwrite the styles on this form (and others) with our CSS in about a 1 hour project, but it would be best to have these changed from where they are sourced from.

We can modify the Mortgage Form here, http://www.choicefinance.net/mortgage-articles.htm, to display thinner borders. About 30 minutes design to do this.

    Hi Moriah
Would it be smarter for me to have you design our Contact forms, instead of using a company like http://www.emailmeform.com/ for this?

The contact forms I use for the above Contact Us page, and here http://www.choicefinance.net/maryland-mortgage-rate.htm, and here http://www.choicefinance.net/rates-g...nt-options.htm
and they look like crap. I need something very professional.

    http://www.choicefinance.net/maryland-mortgage-rate.htm
    http://www.choicefinance.net/rates-g...nt-options.htm

Would you like these two forms to keep the same fields that are currently displaying?

The thick border i was describing seems only to be affecting tables i insert like the one at /mortgage-articles.htm. Can you fix the site, and not just the form? so i don't have the problem in the future when inserting tables?

Sure thing. About 30 minutes design to style the tables with a thin lighter border. Something that looks nicer.

    THANKS

    Hi BJ,

Please see estimates above in blue. Programming will chime in shortly.

    Thank you.

I think those forms look pretty good actually. I assume you need programming estimate to make the forms work after design makes up the HTML for them? Typically it takes from 30 mins - 1hr per form for the processing portion of the form. Then of course you'll need design to estimate the HTML for the forms.

Thanks Moriah and Aaron, i appreciate it.
I think i will put a hold on this Forms request. Aaron got me thinking, and i'll leave well enough alone for now.

I have some higher priority items i'd like to knock out, and i'll try to get the work order for them up tonight.
    THANKS AGAIN, BJ
