I paid to have a filter put on ny blog so that I wouldn't be getting spam. It has been working great, but I just yesterday started receiving spam again.

Hi Mel,

Unfortunately we do not support wordpress products. I understand there are some good pluggins you can get for wordpress to reduce the spam. I recommend asking wordpress support - then have us install one of the recommended pluggins.

Yea that guy from Amsterdam has been sneaking past Askimet and been causing all sorts of trouble. I blogged about it and got a huge number of people responding...I got information in there on how to block him with .htaccess

Unfortunately getting rid of spam completely is a tough one...

Askimet is definitely great for Wordpress but nothing is perfect.

Blocking specific IPs can resolve it, but be careful with blocking ranges of IPs
