Is There a Way to Edit a Commenters Name?

This would be extremely useful as would being able to edit their comment.

No and no - I have intentionally left this out of the technology as it seems very disingenuous (and leads to lack of credibility) if you can alter something contributed by another.

It can certainly be custom coded if you wanted it - but for philosophical reasons I have left those features out.

That takes away our editorial control...

Often times someone will leave good comments, but, use anchor text that isn't appropriate. I want the ability to correct that so that they can leave there comment, learn and continue to contribute.

Other times they might put links in their content that I want to edit out, but, leave the rest of their comment....

To me, this can have a positive impact on my credibility....
