Foreclosure snippet

Need a quote for a snippet that lets me search "Modifications/Exclus", actually I just need one that shows M7A or M7B or M7 (foreclosure/bankruptcy mods).

On a similar not I just noticed this work order:

For foreclosures - It would work to have a checkbox or a drop down - yes / No on the search form - 30 mins programming - should cover that task.

I would like to learn a little bit more how that works and where the link goes, is it on the top of my IDX search next to MLS Number, School, Subdivision, etc?

Hi Mike,

It appears that they do not provide the "Modifications/Exclus" field in the IDX feed. I do see it in the metadata but attempting to query that field I get permission denied. So making a snippet based on this field will not be possible at this time. Would you like us to contact the MLS board to see if they can provide you access to that field? ( They likely do not provide access for a reason ) ....

As far as how this would work - It could work either way... What I was suggesting is a checkbox on the search form. But others have done it so that there is a tab at the top and the search is limited to foreclosures.

Aaron if you could inquire with my MLS board that would be great. The M7's are for short sales, bankruptcies, foreclosures. Hopefully we are allowed to access those fields. Let me know thanks.

Hi Aaron thanks. I do know they take a while to email people back but the person you need to speak to is Gary Connelly, I'm on the road so can't recall the number but you can find it on WCBR dot NET. Let me know how you make out thanks.

We are dealing with Rapattoni RETS Support at the moment. They told us that we should have access to the field - but we do not. So it's possible they will direct us to the MLS board - so this could take a bit longer.
