Can PPC work to obtain seller leads? Not necessarily community specific, but for discount real estate services i.e. flat fee listings?
Thanks in Advance.

Don't see why not. Never hurts to try it.

It can work for any kind of seller leads, but my experience has been that seller oriented keywords generally get low PPC activity, and don't convert very well.
Yupi, its another venture to get conversions but don't expect too much from it too.
Traffic is down, but competition is low...so you never know if you manage the campaign well!

We use PPC for seller leads and in the past have done pretty well with them. I just started a campaign for seller leads on Facebook. It's to early to tell if it's working yet, but I like it.
Currently almost all our listings come from our buyer leads. About 50% of our leads have a home to sell. If they are local we try to get the listing. If they are out of state, we ask if they are working with a Realtor already. If not, our goal is a referral fee by finding them an Agent.
We haven't really gone after listings until now but I have every intention of dominating our listing market once we get into it. I'm planning on Internet marketing to be a big part of it. I will tell you that once you build a database like we have of over 22,000 buyers in one database and 13,000 in our other database, it makes getting listings very easy. We basically get everyone we go on, but we turn most of them down because they won't listen to us with regard to pricing.

Mitch,
Out of curiousity, how did you try and get sellers on Facebook? Target Divorcees?
I currently run a real estate listing site that offers featured listings for a flat monthly fee. I am trying to figure out the best way to connect with agents and offer the tools you guys are looking for.
No reason not to try it.. the good news is it wont cost you very much, the bad news is it wont cost very much because it wont get very many clicks.
I like using PPC for buyers. But I have gotten a few listings from some PPC I have done.
