Incorrect Blog Address?

I have an REW blog on my website, but I'm confused about the address for the blog's main page and hoping someone can explain the following:

From my homepage side navigation the link to my blog goes to:

http://www.tinafountain.com/blog/tina-fountain/

Should it go to:

http://www.tinafountain.com/blog/

And, when you get to the blog page all of the categories links have the longer address followed by the categories name.

I thought the address with my name twice was used if you had multiple authors?

Is it set up correctly or should it be changed?

It is set up correctly. It is written in such a way as to make upgrading it to a multi-user blog easier.
