Default Would like to have some feedback...

I posted earlier but since I have not been on this site in quite a while it was requested that I review again before requesting feedback on my web site. I have done that and would love to hear some feedback on my website.

I have recently relocated and had to put something together fast and so it is still a work in progress but I would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions.

Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.

@William: Please find my comments below.

    1) Logo --- It might be worthwhile to rework your logo or have it professionally done. Even if you don't, I would move it to the other side of the page. There isn't anything wrong with it in its current location, but most users will naturally look to the top-left to see "who" is responsible for the page.

    2) Layout --- You have quite a bit of white space included in the "content" portion of your site (the main text). You might try reducing / reworking it to improve its easy of reading. At very least, I would move the start of the text up on the page --- you want visitors to see the key content of the site without scrolling. Once their attention is caught, they will scroll down. If they don't see your great content, they are more than likely to bounce from the site and move on to one of your competitors. If you want to get really technical, you might check out http://www.markboulton.co.uk/journal...er_typography/, which is a great primer on fonts / type layout.

    3) Content --- I would consider reorganizing your content to make it flow better for someone who is new to buying / selling a home. Instead of having sub pages named "Free Home Reports," I would frame the content around the logical steps implicit in buying or selling a house. (E.g. create a page that helps a potential seller understand what things they need to consider when selling a house, how you can help, and then, suggest services to help them like a "free home report")

    Hope that is helpful...

I think you should try to incorporate a nice flash video. I think this will bring your site "alive".

on my screen, your site is all the way to the left with a big empty space on the right of the screen,

    Can it be centered?

well-- I question the picture on this site. If you had a luxury clientel-- then I would say sure-- nothing wrong with the gigantic mansion on the front of the site. But I dont think that is the case.

I also dont see you getting any seo love out of the content. No H1 tags.

Thank you all for your time. I sat down today to read and try to implement some of your suggestions but could not reconcile your comments with the website. That is when I found that I had put new text in my signature but left the link to the old website...

I have updated the link and, in order to avoid confusion, started a new thread for comments. I do apologize for the mistake.
