Default Typestyles for setting up a letter for CMS2

I am trying to set up a letter in the cms. I open my document and for some reason the typestyle is small.

How do I change the typestyle and found. In my CMS2 there is no pull down menu for fonts and there is no font size pull down.

Is that a mistake in my CMS2 or is that the way it is for everyone.

I am sorry-- I must be totally ignorant. Because this thing just doesnt seem obvious to me.

The WYSIWYG editor is much more limited than regular html. It allows you to choose the "tag" of the text, in other words: paragraph, heading 1, heading 2, etc. This controls somewhat the size of the text. And the styles control other factors of how the text appears. But if you want to fine-tune how it looks, you'll need to go into HTML mode by clicking on the HTML link.

You can also design (or have us design) an email template that will give more control over how the email looks.

So you highlight the text and then tag it?

You can do it either way: you can select the tag and then type the text, or type the text, highlight it, and select the tag.

If you select the tag first, that tag will be in effect until you select another one.
