Should I approve this blog comment?

I get quite a few blog comments where people try and sell something. Here's the latest comment:

I looked at his site and don't know if this is a real technology or just another piece of junk that people might buy.

What do you think? And do you generally allow this type of comment on your blog?

Maybe it is real technology but why does he need to be pushing it on your blog? I wouldn't allow it personally. My two cents... keep the change!

I usually allow any kind of comment that seems like it comes from a real person.

If you're interested in that kind of service.. why not call the person? You'll get a straight answer as to whether or not they are spam.. and it could end up benefiting you if they are a legitimate company.

Maybe leave the comment pending until you've contacted them to see what they're all about.

I try not to have any products advertised on my sites and blogs that I am not personally able to validate. Even though you did not solicit this comment on your blog if you leave it for your readers to see it could be viewed that you approve of it and thus endorse it.

My opinion is that it is spam and should not be allowed.

Maybe I am to nice of a guy but I agree with Nick. Contact the guy if he is legit and has the proper materials for you to look into his product who knows it could be a real bonus to you, your clients, and readers.

I also agree with nick.

Find out if it's legit and if so, approve it.

The reason being the author is not selling v-i-a-g- etc, and this product sounds like a nice feature for your visitors and customers.

If it is legit, I'd also ask for an article about the product.
