Making money with Short Sales

Does anyone have any good URLs to read up on how the process is done? I'm a firm believer in there is money to be made in any market.

I know there are agents who live in California and Florida that are making money off of people about to lose their house.

Just google "the short sale process" and you'll see a ton of links about the subject. Yes. Lots of money can be made in any market. Although the REO specialists are having the best opportunities, you really can't envy them because they were in REOs when REOs were not cool. So now they are just reaping the harvest from having positioned themselves there. But there are opportunities as long as there are buyers and investors. Different buyers, different investors than 2 years ago but none the less in the market for deals. Short sales aren't always the best deals. Wait for them to become bank owned then they become really good deals. As Realtors, we have an advantage of seeing the best deals out there as they make it fresh on our MLS database. Grab em while they're hot. This window of opportunity will not last long.
