Word Press Upgrade

Do I need or should I upgrade to the 2.7 WordPress version? We just did an upgrade I thouhgt and it is asking me to upgrade to 2.7. Thanks and Happy New Year!

You don't "need" to upgrade - the version you are running now should be ok but it is always good to stay updated to get all the latest features and security updates... If you did want to upgrade - it's a 15-30 min programming project. Since you have a default template - I don't see any design time required to rework the template.
