Default How long to get new site pages indexed

We launched our new REW site last week (buddyblake.com) and my indexed pages (ie site:buddyblake.com) on Google has increased a few pages per day, but I was thinking that the large number of new pages (ie IDX sitemapping etc etc) would jump vs slowly increase.

What should I expect (if anything)?

    Thanks for your time....

I would love to know this information as well since I will be launching my new REW site very soon. I understand that not every page will be indexed but would like to know how long it takes for the majority to get in Google.

As mentioned before, blogging is one of the quickest and best ways to get your site indexed fast by google. However, your blog needs to be up and running. If you aren't posting regularly to your blog then it might not be as effective. When I started a wordpress blog, I posted to it several times a week. Whenever I made a change to my real estate site I mentioned it on my blog. My new pages are indexed within 24 hours. Pretty cool...

Thanks for the blog info. My pages were being indexed very quickly and now it has crawled to a snails pace. I'll get back on the blogging.

It really depends on how many links, the quality of said links etc - fresh content indexing can help as well (your REW blog here at realestatewebmasters.com active rain etc

Just keep focusing on building your diverse linking portfolio and business (instead of counting indexed pages) and you will be fine

    Thanks for the blogging advice.

Is blogging help because it help the page update regularly, so would it be the same if we have a page that update regularly but is not a blog?

Thanks for the blog information and I also have on my home page "Featured Properties" and "Featured News", where I put all my new properties and pages in and Google index them in 1-2 days.

It may work the same with a website that is updated frequently. Look to see how often Google caches your home page to get a feel for how often they visit. Plus Google doesn't always filter through the entire site so you would need to have a link on the home page. Now consider wordpress and how many blogs and modifications are taking place each day. Using the tags and posting on a regular basis plus with pinging the pages that I link to get indexed quickly. I love it.

Yeah...blogging is a great tool at our disposal to push our sites out to G and others. I have a new site in my market area with an on board blog and most of my posts this year will be about pages within that site. Great way to explain to the public how to use my site and provides useful links from the blog to the site. You could also blog about buyer and seller tips and once you get enough posts on each subject, you can provide a number of articles (posts) for those pages. It's all good...
