That's interesting ultraviolet, how do you go about investing in REIT or The REIT Equity One?

I think they are pretty much publicly traded on the NYSE. I would suggest to you though before you you take my word on it to take a look into REIT's and how to measure their value. There are a few good sites to look into to get a general idea of how they work, one in particular would be www.nareit.com (national association of reits). They have publications, data, and a listing of many many trusts, even related to the state they reside in. So look into it, and let us know too if you find something a bit more promising than equity one, since I'm not completely sold on them yet.

The one thing, however, that got me kinda serious about equity 1 is that after reading about it I went to the grocery store to get some things for dinner and a property right next to a pharmacy was up for rent, and low and behold, an equity one sign that said "managed by equity one." And I was like.. ah I guess they weren't lying.. haha.

What is a bit more favorable though, IMO, is finding a small reit that focuses in the design district of Miami, Fl. That area is going to be an architectural landmark when all building is done in about 5 years or so. A bit north of downtown Miami, I've heard, read, and seen some great things there, so I would be very foolish not to invest some money in that area. If anyone else has any information or thoughts on the design district, please let us know.

buying REITS are like buying stocks. but they are better since by rule, they have to pay 90% of all earnings straight to shareholders.
if stocks confuses the hell out of you, then I would suggest
buying mutual funds who buys REITS. Mutual funds manages everything
you still have to do some research to distigiush which funds are the best for you and which fund would perform in the long term..
Looking for Bay Area Real Estate or are you searching for Foreclosures visit my sites. Coming to CA and like to know Things to do in California.

One thing to keep in mind is that there are actually several "types" of foreclosure investments: preforeclosures, foreclosure auctions, and REO's (real estate owned).
My website has a foreclosure page that details each of these stages. I also have a page that contains some information on the fix and flip (rehab) investment strategy. Good Luck!

I looked at your website and you have links to other things as well. Foreclosuers are alot of competition now, if you go in there with $35,000 and other people have 80,000 and over you're out of luck.

most of the people I know here in California are cash buyers for this type of
investment..for every foreclosured homes in my area, I can easily find 16 cash buyers or more.
