customized search

We are looking to refine the search functionality on our site and I would like to hear from members/developers who may be able to help with the development. What we are looking for is a search function that lets you combine several search parameters such as country/type/price.
The site is built on a modx platform. I am new to the forum so not sure if it is OK to add the URL or not. However, if you are interested, please let me know and I will forward the URL so you can have a closer look on the site.
