Should I put my articles on my blog?

I have had a few articles done by REW and submitted to all the article sites, should I also put the article on one of my blogs? Curious if that is a bad thing with dup. content, etc.

You can also do one thing. Just manipulate the content of your article. Make it short and post it on your blog. It won't take much of your time or effort and there is a greater chance that you would avoid your blog content declared as duplicate by the search engines.

Put the articles on your blog first, so google sees that the content on your site is the orgibal. After they have been indexed, submit the articles to the article distribution sites.

Bogart hit the nail on the head! This is a great way to let Google know the article started on your blog and that you are the source. Be sure to make Google has indexed the article on your blog before you syndicate it

It's kind of an old thread, but I would suggest (as has been previously noted) to put the article on your blog first so it gets credited for having the original content. I also would not submit it through multiple services, do one article per article-syndicate you are submitting.

It's good to change up the article a bit or do an article spin with some of the words.

I was under the impression the duplicate content is just that, dupicate. How can you post on your blog and the post it on some other site without it being a dupe? Just curious if this method works.

Duplicate content is only a problem on the same site. For example, if you had two pages on your website with the exact same information, that is duplication.

The engines will give "credit" for the content to the first place they encounter it. So, if you posted it on your blog, waited for the page to be cached, then posted the same info on other websites, there would be no problem.
