Default Writting To Drive Traffic To Your Website

There's lots of talk about the right words to use and optimization and combination of words but nobody has addressed proper optimization and the right words to use to separate yourself from your local competition.

Yes I agree, writing is important and the words you use on your website is important however, I have found that if I niche market my real estate and use terms that identify that niche market I tend to get more hits to my website and better visitors.

Has anybody tired to niche their website?

There's a big difference between writing to separate yourself from the local competition and full-fledged niche marketing, no? Personally, I think niche marketing has its cons in a down market. It stands to reason that niche players will almost certainly get hit harder than others in a down market unless they are already the lead player in their niche.

    Anyone?

Niche market...? We added pages and are getting more leads than ever. Be first to add and optimize the pages for niches and you'll be the first to get the leads!

You can adapt to the market and become a niche player when you need to without sacrificing your other potential business.

Yes, of course. We should all be doing all that. But I don't consider that niche marketing when you're covering all the niches!

I have spent a lot of time targeting a few certain niche markets. I started by writing blogs directed to potential investors in certain neighborhoods. I created hundreds of back links by posting on forums, creating free blogs, posting comments on certain blogs, and submitting articles to many different directories. This has really paid off, and I have had many "niche" terms show up as the #1 google search.

When I got my first niche site to the sopt I wnated it, I started another. I also link most of these back to my main real estate site, and have noticed that ranking much better in some of the more broad terms.
As a Realtor, most of my clients are investors.
I sell multiple properties to most clients. Many purchase with cash.

When you `niche' a market you are actually narrowing down the focus of your target groups hence the potential to convert automatically goes up. It doesn't hurt to `niche' as much as you want online because that's the way web marketing works. But having said that, you must of course be well verse in the subjects that you are targetting, otherwise you'll give an impression that you are a `jack of all trades' and a master of none.

I have niched my websites from a geography perspective. I have heard that going after high end stuff or recreational properties is the way to go though.

The jack of all trades thing has certainly happened to me. At this point in my real estate career I just can't say no to trying to service clients in areas I am not 100% familiar. This for my web presence and my actual dealings with clients. I want to become more focused once business picks up.

I agree with the niche market approach. Even though I market for the supposedly larger producing keywords, I have a better conversion on niche terms.

One of the significant factor in SEO is the article writing. The first step in article writing for marketing purposes is to identify the target audience and make a list of the words and phrases that they typed into the major search engines. This practice is called keyword research and it is arguably the most important step in article writing online. The goal of all your advertising methods is to get people who are interested in your product or service to view your website or blog and make a purchase.
