I should have mentioned this...along with the "Yes, you can measure the effectiveness of your marketing based on the increase in traffic to certain pages."

Here's an example: With my most recent client I've been able to increase her site traffic (from 20,000 page views to over 26,000) in less than 40 days.

With some targeted marketing I've also been able to increase the traffic for a specific page she wanted to promote to increase revenue.

This is all measured through GA and her website host.

    Hope that helps.

The nice thing is, it is FREE. Easy to set up. Try it, if you don't like it, turn it off. Nothing to lose but a little time.

I also use google analytics and it is not hard to set up ( paste the code before </body> tag). It's very useful to monitor the traffic of the site.

I have been using Google Analytics for a couple of years now and love it. REW installed the code on my site with them and I created the one for another one of my sites. It has been very useful for me and once you learn more about what's all there it has really helped my business. Hey and it's free...thanks G.

Google Analytics is a great, invaluable tool that is easy to set up.. but do set it up properly to maximize the data and information that will pose to be an effect way to monitor your traffic and measure your internet pressence and marketing effectiveness. It will also guide you on seeing what 'terms' and searches people are 'googling' to then find you in that same search so you can add that to your 'meta tags' and so on...

Google Analytics is a free stat tracking and analysis service that allows webmasters to analyze the flow of traffic on a website. While most hosting solutions come with similar software can not be so easy to understand or easy to navigate as Google Analytics.
