    Default no email copies

    Hi,

    So, the other day I asked you to change out our default email address and name on the email section of the Lead Management. This was done. I have noticed a couple things though...Now when we go to the Accept/Pending Lead section, the only agents names are Rachael Wilson and Keith and Rachael. Does this mean we won't get an option to have just Keith Cook anymore since you changed our email and name in the email screen? Also, the bigger issue is that I noticed that once that was changed, we no longer get a email in our inbox after we accept someone as a lead and set them up on a search....Those emails don't show up in our inbox like they do when you just accept the lead as Rachael. They should go out to the realestate@buyermax.com email each time.

    Can we fix this?

    You could set up a new agent that is just for Keith and assign the leads to that agent.

    Do you mean when the lead is assigned? Which username are you signing into the CMS with? - An email is sent to the agent that gets assigned the lead - the email will go to whichever email address is set in the agent details for that agent.

    I do mean once the lead is assigned...the email does not come through to us. Our email: realestate@buyermax.com is set up to send out emails to Keith and Rachael's inbox - and it works outside of this feature...but, if I assign a lead to the Keith and Rachael name in Lead Mgr, it does not send out an email to. It does send one to Rachael when we assign a lead to her though.

    I thought we only had one backend login. I don't know of any additional ones. As far as I know, there is just one admin login and we use it for Keith and Rachael.

    I just tested it out - by adding myself as a lead - then I assigned myself to the "Keith and Rachael" user - and I was sent an email from the lead manager stating that the "Keith and Rachael" user had a new lead. Since we do not host your email - I cannot troubleshoot why you did not get the email. However the email is being sent out from our end.

    Each agent can login to the CMS using the username and password that you set on the agent details page. I wasn't clear since you said "accept the lead as Rachael." I thought you meant you were signed into the CMS under the "Rachael" agent.

    I think there is some confusion...I received the emails saying that you signed up on the IDX online...SO those emails do go through (as I mentioned in my last post). The emails I don't receive are the ones I should be receiving after I manually go in and assign that new lead to either Rachael or Keith and Rachael (the only two options you give us). If I assign it to Rachael, she gets an email saying it was assigned to her et al, if I assign the lead to Keith and Rachael, we do not receive this email....Does that makes sense.

    I do not believe the problem is related to our email hosing, but something you guys just changed the other day on your end when I asked you to change our default to Keith and Rachael over in the email section. Does this make sense?

    Thank you for continually to look into this. I would like to get it fixed.

    Yes - that's exactly the email I'm talking about - I added my email address so that when I assigned the lead ( myself ) to the "Keith and Rachael" agent an email was sent to both me and realestate@buyermax.com - I'm saying that I cannot troubleshoot why that email did not get to your server after our server sent it.

    Regarding this comment. the only two options you give us

    - You can add more agents in the CMS.

    The change that I made the other day was to change that user "Keith" and the email address associated with that "agent" .... so now the "You have received new lead" emails are being sent to "realestate@buyermax.com" for the first time. I am not sure why that account does not get the email after we sent it. Possibly it's getting caught by spam filters.

    Regarding this comment. the only two options you give us

    - Do understand that you can add more agents in the CMS ?

    I would have assumed we could have more agents in the CMS, but when I asked you guys to change the default email in the email section - someone also changed the agents section...Not sure why. They took Keith Cook out completely???? and added Keith and Rachael. Not sure why someone chose to take Keith out - we would have preferred he stay. I don't care either way that Keith and Rachael is an option...It can work for us (of course that is as long as I know I get emails from it). I guess I will try to see if out IT guys can help me figure out why I get the other emails from you guys that are sent through realestate@buyermax and not those ones....Something has changed.

    Sorry...I truly am not trying to be a pain. I communicate a lot better in person, so it is really difficult for me to feel like I am making sense in writing in these posts. They are not my favorite way of communicating.

    Yeah - I probably could have done it another way. But all you have to do is re-add Keith as an agent and then you can assign leads to Keith. We do have a support line you can call (250-753-9893) - if you would like to speak to a CSR rep.
