I was planning on coming in on Wednesday, (that was a typo that I corrected - thanks - I'm getting burned out trying to figure this out) maybe meeting up with folks at The Keg Wed. night and going to the conference the next morning. I'll plan on going home Saturday or Sunday, depending on if I can find a travel partner.
There is a bus that leaves Pacific Central Station (Bus 019 - Metrotown Stn/Stanley Park) with a transfer on Bus 250 to Horseshoe Bay.
There is also a route on the Skytrain with a transfer to Bus 250 to Horseshoe Bay. Not sure which one to take - I'll have to study the routes again.
Then I take the ferry from Horseshoe Bay to Departure Bay and hopefully can get a taxi to HoJo. Of course, I'm hoping I can make the connections but it seems like it should be OK.
You can call me tomorrow (708-536-8200) if you'd like to coordinate travel if you're flying in via Seattle (so I don't get lost - LOL)!

Money Magazine says that Orland Park real estate is one of the best places to live in the U.S. Check out Homer Glen homes if you're interested in living in the newest Chicago suburb. Next door, Lemont homes are the priciest in the southwest suburbs and have held their value, even appreciating while prices in other areas have gone down.
I arrive at 11:43am in Vancouver I'm thinking of catching a 1:30PM seaplane to nanaimo so I can get over to REW HQ before close of business and meet my sales rep Craig before he goes home for the day. I think getting from either Duke Point or Departure Bay to downtown Nanaimo should be easy as long as you don't get into town too late. I was just unclear about getting from VYR airport to seaplane or ferry takeoff point, I saved your bus info above. I'll try to call you tomorrow but it won't be until end of day PST timezone, lots appts tomorrow

If the topic of planning for the 2010 REW Summit is discussed, if possible could the dates be something other than the last 2 days of the month. In our market July is our biggest month for closings and the last days of the month are always the busiest.

I think this would be true for almost everyone. It has worked out OK for us this time because our closings were spread out over the month but normally that is not true.
The first week of Sept would probably be much less busy for everyone and would not be the end of the month. Or maybe the 2nd or 3rd week of August.
I would love to go to the Forum, but July is a hard time to get away. March or September would be a better time for 2010.
