From the online marketing companies promising you 1st page google placement? Oh man I love those phone calls. I spent 15 mins with one last night and just destroyed her business model.

I ove telling them "I'm already number 1 for the term I want."

I get these almost daily it seems. I used to spend some time having fun beating them up, but then I realized they are just doing their job. Now I simply tell them if they can do it better than I do it, then prove it and I'll pay them. It ends the call fairly quickly!

The reality is that SEO's that get the job done don't have the time to service all of their referrals... let alone need to do any cold calling.

We get these calls constantly. Jennifer asks them one question:

"Have you even checked where my site ranks which is page 1 by the way, or are you just calling to annoy me?"

I like the calls where they have referrals for me. Are they agents? no. but if you go to www.whatever blah blah blah

I get these calls all them time and love them. Obviously they found me on the web and I would never get these calls before I used REW.

I think these people find agents on directories. I get these calls from time to time. I had one a few days ago. The guy tells me, "I have one spot remaining for the <area real estate> term. You can be on the first page of Google in no time." I was actually in front of the computer at that time. I tell him, go to Google and search for that phrase. He did. I asked him "Do you see me now?" His answer was "Oh".

That was the end of the conversation.

If you were gonna call me, at least do some research ahead of time.
