Go to the Google search field and type in
    link:yoursite.com
Try this in both Google and yahoo. My experience is that Yahoo shows quite a few more backlinks.

Definitely use Yahoo's Site Explorer (http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com). This is one place where Yahoo has Google beat. Google has been known to filter backlinks for a variety of reasons. In addition, Google doesn't update their backlink results nearly as much as Yahoo does. With Yahoo's Site Explorer, you can easily find much more accurate backlinks to your site, as they have daily updates.

To use it, just go to http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com and type your address in the box. Then click the Inlinks button, and you're good to go!

G! doesn't give you a full list with the link: tool on purpose. They dont want people to easily reverse engineer others success. Instead, they prefer you to use G! Webmaster tools to get a better list of backlinks.

Thanks for your advice. However i wonder if this blks checker tool of Yahoo is precise enough, because there are many services of yahoo that always have problems (Y! 360, mail etc.) anyway, i found that using yahoo search engine i get many incorrect results.

Google Webmaster Tools is the best if you are just checking the backlinks on your own site.

I've found that even Yahoo Site Explorer doesn't always list every backlink. I've seen it drop links, too.

I tend to agree regarding the Yahoo Site Explorer...Google just does not seem to care all that much regarding back link reporting
