Modifying Published Date

For customers that are migrating over to the REW system, I think a way (in the advanced tab) for us to modify the publish date would be fantastic.

In my case, I'm bringing over some posts that I'd like to incorporate into the blog that rank, but it's old material.

Would be nice to get the published date to change so that it's accurate on the actual post and the archives.

PS. If it's already possible to do this, I'll willingly roll my face on the keyboard.

In the case of some of the content I'm pulling over; take this blog post for example:

That post ranks at the moment, but notice when I brought it over the post is from 2007 but the REW blog forces it to be published the day I posted it in the REW CMS.

"Posted by Super Admin on Monday, March 30th, 2009 at 4:33pm."

A way for us to modify the publish date, in cases where we are migrating old blog content to a REW built-in blog, is what I was referring to.

It could be put on the advanced tab when creating a new blog post.

Ah IC - i will put your suggestion to the team for the next version - makes sense. For now you would have to fake it and put it in to store it, then delete and repost (I see where this can be annoying)

Oh, so there's a work-around? I'm sorry, I don't understand what you mean by delete and repost it.
