Default Organizing pages and snippets in CMS 2.0

Is it possible to create folders to organize pages and snippets that would translate into sub-directories of your domain

i.e. - create a folder for all my long beach related pages in a folder called "longbeach" page1.php, page2.php etc

and then access via browser at domain.com/longbeach/page1.php?

I just started putting my content together and my number of pages/snippets is already starting to get unruly. I discovered I could use naming to group the snippets somewhat because they are sorted by name alphabetically automatically but the pages are just listed by date entered so that mini-trick doesnt even help much

any advice how to do this or tips on how to keep things organized from other cms 2.0 users would be great.

    Thanks,

Do you have drag and drop navigation module? (In manage pages can you drag and drop?) If no you should order it, if yes, then use the category sub category to organize your pages.

As for snippets - there is no such feature sorry.

ok, thanks I see how to use that feature now by creating a container page then going into each pages edit mode that fits into that category and using "re-assign to" feature to place it under the parent container page. I seem to have drag and drop which allows me to rearrange pages into alphabetical order (or any order) but it doesn't allow me to place child pages into parent pages right? (or am I doing something wrong?)

    Thanks,

You can't do that in the drag-n-drop module. You have to do it via the ride side nav-bar by selecting the main page, then the sub-page. Once you have the sub-page opened, you can then move that sub-page on the "Edit Page" by the drop down menu for "Reassign to" at the top.

At least I thing that is what you are asking?

yes, I figured out how to do it the way you just mentioned I was just wondering if there was a drag and drop method too. Thanks for clarifying that for me though!
