It took me a while before I "got it". I don't think I was banned from any forums, but I certainly got less blog posts approved in my early "social media" days ;-)

Unfortunately, fierce moderation is about the only way to keep the problem at bay & it's the moderators who encourage spammers to continue doing it because they DON'T swiftly moderate their forums.

Kudos to Morgan, Nick et al, for keeping REW a high-quality place to learn.

Still "Joelrunner" I think http://www.realestatewebmasters.com is a much better moderated forum in comparison to some shockingly ill managed forums where all the topics and threads go off track or nothing matches with what is being asked or discussed.
